Summer of Chicago: Day 3 – Part 1

Whenever I’m in a new city, the thing I look most forward to doing is just taking my time to absorb the energy the city provides and channel into my body. Every city has a different atmosphere, a different vibe that it gives off. For example, when I’m in New York City, the energy is very frenetic, fast-paced, and changing all the time; thus, whenever I’m there, my gait is always double as quick compared to when I’m strolling in Columbus and every step has a purpose.

On Saturday, I was blessed with the opportunity to spend a nice block of time away from my family and venture into the city at my own pace on my own agenda. For 6 hours, I was free to indulge in me-time.
